JOB TITLE: Business Development Manager
JOB LOCATION: Port Harcourt, Rivers
JOB DETAILS:
- Responsible for identifying business opportunities, handle catering prequalification, Technical and commercials tenders, maintain a good working relationship with client and new contacts.
Responsibilities
- Research existing markets, identifying new business opportunities and develop business Development plan.
- Handles prequalification, Technical and commercials tenders
- Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan
- Efficient in Developing business proposals for new and existing customers
- Make presentations to correctly position products, services and our presence in the territory.
- Participate in management team planning, evaluation, and team building that supports theorganization’s growth as sales- driven business.
- Explain to prospective clients about the advantages of the products or services offered and follow up with them in order to close the business deals.
- Respond to the client queries regarding the products/Services in a timely fashion.
- Make quotes based on request sent from customers
- Assist in Company Branding and Advertisement
- Coordinate and manage business development activities with other department personnel to maximize leadpotential for all business operations.
- Build and maintain positive customer relations and generate data about customer satisfaction.
- Assist Operations personnel in the pre-planning of new projects and business.
- Prepare the annual marketing budget and track the expenses against the budget.
- Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
- Train, motivate, direct, and manage everyone on the sales team.
Qualifications

- B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, sales or relevant fields
- Minimum of 4 years post qualificationexperience as Business Development Manager, Sales Manager or relevantrole
- Proficiency in MS Office
