- Responsible for coordination of the operations and functioning of the Shared Services ensuring achievement of agreed service levels agreements and compliance with established policies
- Responsible for managing and delivering the Groupwide IT Shared Services mandate for the Group including:
- Service Delivery/Management)
- IT Infrastructure management
- IT applications (non SAP)
- Network / Security management
- Finance and Human Resources Business Partnering
- SAP COE
- Responsible for defining BU’s business strategy, growth metric, and direction
- Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
- Responsible for the day to day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, and training are properly addressed and monitored
- Responsible for all key business applications (O365, ISOP, SAP) that drive the growth ambitions of the Group
- Specifically for SAP: Implement new and evolving business requirements dependent on SAP for the business; Provide strategic direction on the optimal use of SAP for business; Deliver change/enhancements, upgrades, and improvements on SAP instances; Provide level 2 and level 3 support for SAP issues
- Provide technical input and support in the procurement of relevant IT equipment, including installation, configuration, and routine maintenance of IT hardware
- Support the purchase of efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software in line with the Group’s Purchasing Standards
- Fulfill infrastructure requirements for the deployment of new solutions as required by the Business Unit (BU)
- Coordinate solution development lifecycle activities for group-level solutions or initiatives
- Responsible for delivering and managing end-user computing for Group and subsidiaries
- Provide reports on compliance with SLAs to the Group Executive Management
- Establish quality control mechanisms such as surveys, periodic data quality assurance reviews, error escalation procedures
- Reviews and monitors services to identify trends and problem areas, reporting on risks, key performance indicators, and proposed corrective action or new approaches
- Ensure that billings and recovery of costs is done timely
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- A master’s degree in a related field is preferred
- 15+ years ’ working experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry
- 5+ years in a similar role at a large (multinational) organization with different BUs
- Solid technical background combined with customer service experience
- Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
- Customer service oriented with a problem-solving attitude
- Solid understanding of data analysis, budgeting, and business operations.
