Job Title: Cook
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Set up the kitchen with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
- Must be able to help the restaurant determine how much food & supplies need to be ordered.
- Ensure dishes are cooked well and delivered to customers timely.
- Ensure a great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served/delivered.
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check the quality of ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements
- Proven experience as Cook
- Experience in using cutting tools, and cookware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, boiling etc.).
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
- Very good communication skills.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
- Minimum of 1-2 years work experience.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, HND or OND qualification.
Salary
N35,000 – N45,000 monthly.
