- HND / B.Sc. in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- 7 – 10 years experience in the Diagnosis, maintenance, repair and overhaul of Heavy Duty Equipment.

Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work as a team player
- Skills in diagnosis, repair and maintenance of buses and heavy-duty equipment.
- Skill in the use of diagnostic equipment, including computer-controlled test equipment, to identify problems which are difficult to locate and repair
- Ability to exercise professional judgment with respect to vehicle / equipment repair and maintenance
- Ability to apply greater skill and knowledge than Foremen in the repair, overhaul, and modification of vehicles and equipment which are substantially more complex
- Considerable knowledge of the standard methods, materials, tools and equipment of the motor mechanic and/or heavy duty mechanic trade.
- Considerable knowledge of the operating principles of diesel engines.
- Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the job
- Ability to plan, assign and supervise the work of subordinates.
- Ability to diagnose difficult or unusual vehicle and equipment conditions or malfunctions and to determine effective corrective measures.
- Ability to develop or improvise methods, alter parts, and make repairs in the absence of technical guidelines.
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions.
- Good in the use of SAP PM module.
