JOB TITLE: EMEA’s Talent Marketing Lead (Manager)

JOB DETAILS:
- The Talent Marketing Lead for EMEA’s region will work closely with the global growth talent marketing team to spearhead marketing initiatives to attract top engineering talent through different countries in Europe, focused on Eastern Europe, as well as manage and tropicalize day-to-day global campaigns that will include but are not limited to communication campaigns, social media, paid media campaigns, events, webinars, digital brand experiences, sponsorships, field activations and developers community partnerships.
- You will play a major role in executing and measuring results of various marketing lead generation efforts for the talent acquisition team. This is a Lead position and strategic role focused on hyper growth
Responsibilities
Integrated Marketing:
Advertisements
- Design, create and execute the marketing strategy for EMEA’s markets based on global communication strategy.
- Tropicalize and execute global campaigns for EMEA’s market, focusing on scalability for this region .
- Work directly with Marketing Director to define and manage EMEA’s multi channel marketing campaigns strategy for talent acquisition needs, including brand positioning, channel plan, and engagement strategy linked to global acquisition goals.
- Drive the development of cross-discipline plans by working closely with and gathering inputs from all internal global stakeholders including, but not limited to, Acquisition, Engagement, Social, PR, Field & Affiliate, Creative and other relevant teams.
Field Marketing:
- Plan and host online and offline events to create new engineering talent lead generation opportunities for Andela, accelerate existing opportunities and deepen our existing partnerships relationships.
- Creating and managing key partnerships with local developer communities, organizations or brands who can help with our word of mouth campaigns and build community relations (Hackathons, trade shows, events, festivals, local networking groups, etc.) .
- Manage all aspects of event coordination including: strategy, objectives materials creation, event messaging/marketing, signage, giveaways, contract negotiation, vendor relations, site selection, registration, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production and F&B, & logistics.
- Tracking results for all regional strategies across channels and making recommendations for future activity (KPI’s, budgets/financial returns, ROI, planning, sizing)
Requirements
- +5 years of Marketing background with an ability to understand key segments, and differentiated position to craft regional campaigns/events that drive performance in a digital environment for a technical company, talent marketplace, or digital services space.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment; ability to iterate and effectively manage time.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy.
- Acute attention to detail; demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness
- Must have experience working with technologists and be familiar with key players in the space.
Expectations
In the first week:
- Onboard and integrate into Andela.

- Become acquainted with your peers, teams, stakeholders, and your initial goals.
In the first month:
- Start collaborating closely with the talent marketing team, talent operations, recruiting and talent experience, to familiarize yourself with the goals, roadmap, and processes. Note any observations.
- Take over any in-flight initiatives, cross-functional meetings/groups and start executing on current department roadmap.
- Deliver on an initial engagement analytics framework that we can visit in a repeatable fashion.
- Understand current company roadmap.
In the first three months:
- Deliver your near to mid term roadmap.
- You should be in a rhythm of delivering on key tasks throughout the business by now.
- Be the contact point Regional Marketing initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
