JOB DETAILS:
- The Programme Coordinator will assist in the administrative and coordination of all activities organised by the Society.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties of a Programme Coordinator will include but will not be limited to the following:
- Planning and coordination of the Society’s program and its activities
- Ensuring the implementation of policies and practices
- Managing and growing the Society’s membership base
- Maintaining budget and tracking expenditures
- Participate in the solicitation of funding requests from sponsors
- Facilitates educational seminars, workshops, meetings and other conferences associated with the Society’s program
- Manage the Society’s website and social media platform;
- Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, reports and other material that communicates the activities of the Society
- Development and distribution of marketing communications, including flyers, brochures and other promotional documents
- Schedule and organize meetings and events
- Support growth and program development
- Identify strategic dates and activities that would increase the impact of campaigns
- Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
- Track projects and media exposure.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education
- A relevant university degree in English, Mass Communication, Psychology, Philosophy, Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration or any related field.
- Master’s and other Management Professional Certification will be an adde advantage.
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience as programme coordinator or relevant field
- Excellent verbal / written skills, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills
- Displays a talent for marketing as well as formulating and implementing innovative ideas for promoting the Society’s program
- Ability to work with young people
- Supervisory skills to prepare and motivate program volunteers
- A strong personal commitment to the values, aims and methods of the company.
Person Specification:
- Must be a FEMALE, not more than 36 years of age.
- Individual must be result orientated and highly self-motivated
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical skills.
