JOB DETAILS:
- Develop and execute innovative strategies that will promote the Bank’s brand visibility, competitive positioning, relevance, and goodwill.
- Develop and implement communication plans and strategies that increase customer retention and increase the Bank’s profitability
Duties and Responsibilities
Advertisements
- Establish style guides, brand guidelines, a brand vision, and a value proposition for the short and long term
- Develop and implement strategic brand initiatives that will increase the Bank’s visibility, trust, and business growth
- Monitor and ensure corporate brand integrity across all product segments, platforms (internal & external) and communication channels
- Responsible for creating, coordinating, and implementing campaigns, advertisements, communications, and other forms of public relations activities across various offline and online media/social media platforms
- Maintain current knowledge of global marketing and branding trends across financial and non-financial sectors.
- Accountable for all creative outputs, including web promotional materials, creative briefings, graphics, and photography
- Assist in the creation of new products and launches as well as the identification of new business opportunities
- Create execution plans for thought leadership initiatives that utilize a variety of material to increase the Bank’s brand visibility, credibility, and trust in the marketplace, while also establishing the Bank’s MD/CEO as a thought leader within the financial sector.
- Review the material on the Bank’s website and other mainstream multimedia marketing channels and New Media (Email, Digital – Blog, Online newspaper, Social Media) to ensure that it meets the required standard and promotes a positive image of the Bank
- Make prudent use of the budget allocated for communications and promotional items to ensure a visible return on investment
- Conduct competitor and customer analysis to gain insights into current trends

Qualifications and Experience
- First Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Master’s Degree is an advantage
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ proven record in Brand communication & Marketing in a Bank
- Minimum of five (5) years’ leadership experience with a strong and progressive track record of exceptional service delivery
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of, and understanding of contemporary brand management principles and practice
- Ability to apply information and knowledge to support brand and communication decisions
- Ability to think strategically, using analytical skills to transform strategies into concrete actions
- Good knowledge of the Bank’s product/services
- Excellent communication skills, i.e., writing, presenting, and listening skills
- Strong leadership, people management and supervisory skills
- Strong negotiation skills
