JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Manager (North)
JOB LOCATION: Abuja (FCT)

JOB DETAILS:
- Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for the implementation of the regional sales & profitability, cash flow targets, company assets, safety, personnel policy as well as manage community issues efficiently without embarrassment/financial losses to the company.
Main Functions
- Ensure that machines sales, parts turnover and services earnings in the region are achieved in accordance with targets
- Attend Nigeria chamber of commerce meetings as at when due for better understanding of economic environment/development.
- Liaise with all major customers, at senior level and ensure that the company is performing to agreed customer service standards.
- Seek out for new business opportunities in the region, monitor on-going opportunities and be aware of all new contracts.
- Ensure safety and security of all company’s assets in the region, including fixed assets and working capital.
- Ensure that debtors and stock levels are maintained in line with agreed parameters.
- Ensure that all commercial systems and procedures are maintained to high standards and that both internal and external auditors achieve positive audit reviews.
- Maintain a peaceful co-existence with staff community and customer representatives in all the regional branch locations.
- Facilitate all necessary certifications and permits required by both Public and Private Establishments on behalf of the company.
- Be the Focal Point for the company with all registered relevant bodies (both public and private) as well as government establishments within the Region.
- Implement the company’s agreed personnel policy on a regular basis.
Education, Experience and Skills / Abilities

- A University Degree or HND
- A minimum of 15 years relevant experience in machine sales
- All-round management abilities with strengths in communication, administration and influencing
- Demonstrable selling skills and a track record of success in machine sales.
- A strong knowledge of the northern market and a good network of customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
