JOB TITLE: Sous Chef
JOB LOCATION: Akoka / Yaba, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef to come up with new dishes which appeal to the customers whenever required.
- Establish the working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen.
- Cook high-quality dishes that follow up the established menu of Soul Food Restaurant.
- Maintain order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.
- Submit cost proposals for menu items.
- Create and test new menus.
- Ensure that all food preparation follows regulatory guidelines.
- Design standardized food presentation guidelines for each dish.
- Monitor inventory levels of commonly used items.
- Look for ways to reduce spoilage of infrequently used items.
